This gallery contains anaglyph pictures obtained from the original stereographs.
For the best viewing, the following instructions are recommended:
1) Put on the red-cyan spectacles so that your left eye looks through the red filter.
2) Restrict use of the spectacles to viewing the anaglyphs only.
3) Wait a few second before viewing, to accustom your eyesight to the anagliphs.
4) Do not go through the anaglyphs too quickly: it is a mistake to suppose that one knows a stereoscopic picture after he has studied it a hundred times. There is such an amount of detail that we have the same sense of infinite complexity which nature gives us, Oliver Wendell Holmes (1809-1894).
